For realtors and loan officers

Homeowners insurance for your buyers, ready before closing

Realtors and lenders are the number one source of our business, and our whole process is built around closing dates. Send us your buyer, the property and the closing date. We’ll quote, bind the policy and get proof of insurance to the lender.

How it works

Send us the buyer’s contact information, the property address and the closing date using the form on this page, or call us. We’ll reach out to your buyer, compare carriers, bind the policy once they choose, and send the binder and evidence of insurance to the lender or title company you name.

What helps us move fast

  • The property address and closing date
  • The buyer’s name, phone and email, and their preferred language
  • The lender or loan officer who needs the binder
  • Any 4-point, wind mitigation or roof inspection reports the seller already has
  • The mortgagee clause, if you have it

Florida issues we catch early

Closings in Florida get delayed by insurance more often than they should. We look for the usual problems as soon as a file comes in:

  • Roof age. Older roofs limit which carriers will write the home. We’ll know right away whether the buyer has options or needs a roof inspection.
  • Older homes. Many carriers want a 4-point inspection. If the seller doesn’t have a recent one, we’ll say so early.
  • Wind mitigation. A current wind mitigation report can lower the buyer’s premium, sometimes a lot.
  • Flood zones. If the lender requires flood coverage, we’ll quote flood insurance alongside the homeowners policy, keeping waiting periods in mind.
  • Condos. Buyers need an HO-6 policy that fits the association’s master policy.

Bilingual buyers

About half of our customers prefer Spanish. Our team can explain coverage to your buyers in whichever language they’re most comfortable with, which saves everyone time at the closing table.

After closing

Your buyer stays with an agency that answers the phone. We’ll review their policy at renewal and help with auto, flood and umbrella coverage as their needs change.

Refer a buyer

Takes about a minute. We’ll confirm we received it.

Realtor & Lender Referral

Rather have your buyer fill it out?

Send them our homeowners application. It takes about 10 minutes and asks for the closing date, lender and title company, so we can get the binder where it needs to go.

Questions from realtors and lenders

Tell us the closing date when you send the referral and we’ll work to it. The biggest factor is having the property details and any inspection reports up front. The earlier we get the file, the more carriers we can check.

Yes. Once your buyer chooses a policy, we bind it and send the binder and evidence of insurance to the lender or title company you name, with the mortgagee clause they provide.

Send it anyway, and send it early. We’ll tell you quickly which carriers will consider the home and whether a 4-point or roof inspection is needed.

Yes. About half of our customers prefer Spanish, and our team is glad to work with your buyers in English or Spanish.
